Job Summary:

Join our customer’s team as a Test Engineer I for testing, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of innovative web applications. You will collaborate closely with developers and product teams, leveraging your expertise in React and Python to design and execute tests, identify issues, and contribute to continuous improvement. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your technical skills while impacting the end-user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for web applications built with React and Python.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure thorough test coverage.
3. Create, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts to streamline testing processes.
4. Identify, document, and track software defects, ensuring timely resolution and accurate communication with developers.
5. Analyze test results and provide detailed feedback to improve product quality and performance.
6. Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge-sharing initiatives.
7. Support release cycles by validating new features and conducting regression testing.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

1. Solid experience with React for web application testing and validation.
2. Proficiency in Python for scripting and test automation.
3. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong focus on clear, concise documentation and team collaboration.
4. Demonstrated attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality test results.
5. Familiarity with common testing frameworks and tools.
6. Ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team environment.
7. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience in Agile development and testing methodologies.
2. Background in CI/CD processes and tools for test automation.
3. Exposure to performance or security testing is a plus.
